Bourn Parish Council currently has two vacancies for the co-option of Councillors onto the Parish Council.
Are you passionate about the community you live in? Do you want to help make long lasting changes? Do you have concerns about a specific issue and want to do something about it? If this is you, then please consider becoming a Parish Councillor. We need people from all backgrounds and experiences who reflect our community.
To become a Councillor, you will need to be:-
- British or a citizen of the Commonwealth. You may also be eligible as a citizen of the European Union, however the criteria has changed now that the UK has left the European Union.
- Be at least 18 years old
- You must also meet one of the following criteria:- a) be on the electoral roll b) have occupied as an owner or tenant, land or other premises in the Parish for at least the past 12 months c) be your main or only place of work for the past 12 months d) Live in the Parish or within 4.8km (3 miles) for the past 12 months
